The City of Issaquah is building an extremely energy efficient fire station at 1575 Maple Street, adjacent to the Issaquah Transit Center.
When finished in the summer of 2011, this station is likely to be one of the highest level LEED platinum buildings in the Northwest.
The artwork will be a 20' solar-powered sconce on the building exterior. The station is designed by TCA Architects.
